I'm fragmented and fractured,
   I'm a song that's growing old,
As a wounded heart lies captured
In a cage of steel so cold.

I'm a flower that's now withered,
  Meshed in vines now overgrown,
As the snakes come forth and slither
In the garden that you've sown.

I'm a moss-infested statue,
  I'm a symbol tarnished blue,
As the lights, they flicker brightly
  Before succumbing to the hue.

I'm a paradox of meaning,
  A contradiction walking true,
As the roads of lives well traveled
  Slowly twist and become skewed.

I'm a vortex of fulfillment
In a black hole full of love,
As the tides turn in to drown me
  And Atlantis soars above.

I'm the Alpha and Omega,
  The beginning and the end,
As the cold blue flames of searing love
  Spiral outward from within.
